Hello lovelies! I'm going to be doing something new now and then with the posts that I do. I'll be doing something called In the Spotlight, and each In the Spotlight post will feature a certain fashion/hair trend that I've fallen in love with lately. I'll try to do one once a week or something like that.
For today's ItS post, I'm focusing on skirts/dresses paired with jackets. I love how you can take a really simple skirt or dress and then dress it up a little bit with a jacket. Jackets are also a great way to make your summer dresses work for fall too! Here are some of my favorite combos.

ReplyDeleteA dress alone can sometimes look a bit girly, but a jacket always adds edge.
I LIKE EDGE.
A leather jacket works great for making a simple outfit edgier. I haven't tried one on to see if I can pull it off, but if I can, I'm definitely going to stock up on them.

DeleteAs much as I adore browsing cute skirts and jackets and things on Pintrest/blogs... I always end up just wearing jeans and a random fandom T-shirt hehe and I would quite frankly feel weird suddenly showing up to school in a pretty outfit xD

Haha, same here! If I'm feeling fancy I'll break out a skirt, but other than that jeans are my best friend.
